A_Facility History
[ February 2012 ]
She arrived near the end of the month like all of the other new residents. It was actually the first batch since the other subjects had taken over the station so waking up on a metal table with a flimsy medical gown and a brand new collar certainly wasn't what people expected. Lenalee met several new people, people who knew her and familiar faces from home - even ones she thought were dead. She was reunited with her brother that first day and it was bittersweet, realized Inspector Link was from the past and that Allen was currently comatose. A lot of her time those first couple of days was spent sitting in a chair with Link and watching over Allen. In that time she was auctioned off by the computer in charge, Val, to the person with the highest bid. Two of her friends pooled together their Vallors and put in a bid for Allen. A few days after that Lavi called the whole group (and some friends) to talk about the events that had happened to him while captured by the Noah.

This month brought about a lot of changes for Lenalee. She started learning and training in hand-to-hand with a couple of her new friends, joined the welcoming committee to help new arrivals find their clothes and understand the situation. Komui lied to her about Allen and Link's relationship and it was a damn good one too. Lenalee didn't believe it but she did start looking into it secretly while keeping it a secret. She even attended the bachelorette party with Allen as friends. The week after Lenalee was given an experiment that made her have an excess of blood and made her perfect food for the temporary vampires lurking about. Shame that she had to run into a hungry one that took a bite out of her. Also shame that Lenalee was the sort to believe she was going to turn into one just like her brother had. This was also the month where all the subjects were given a number and had to perform tasks based off maths. It was during this experiment when she first kissed Allen in order to save them both from suffering the punishments (as she was trying hard to beat down her crush). She also suffered from a week of hallucinations that month.

Early April saw Komui in a pod, comatose along with several other of Lenalee's friends. She spent a lot of her waking hours sitting there waiting for her brother to wake up. By the time the middle of the month came he was awake again and they all had timers glowing on their arms. Komui instantly gave her nearly all of his time and his act made her upset. They could do tasks in order to earn more time and most of them were easy until the last one. She'd been made to stand on hot coals for five minutes, effectively giving her serious third degree burns across the bottom of her feet. At the end of the month Lenalee spent a week aged down to a five year old.

Half of May saw them being attacked by alien creatures known as Skrulls. These were creatures that could change into anyone. Luckily Lenalee was used to being paranoid about anyone she met so questioning people about things came easy to her. Being alone in her apartment as Komui was unconscious yet again she invited some friends over and together they beat off some of the Skrulls. Near the end of the month they were placed inside Facility 3 that was designed to look like a Japanese hot springs resort. It was Lenalee's first trip so she was pretty confused to suddenly wake up there.

They spent three whole weeks in the hot springs resort that led them well into June. She was unaffected by the experiment that turned everyone primal and spent a lot of her time hanging out with those who weren't affected and trying to make sure Komui didn't die. This was also the week that Komui's lies were set straight about Allen and Link and made Lenalee very angry at him. It lasted until they got back to the normal station. Even though she was still mad at her brother, Lenalee made him a cake and visited him on his birthday, even accepted his apology.

This was the month when the Consortium Fleet was in range to attack. A lot of the time beforehand was spent preparing for it or dealing with the long-range experiment affects. When the attack came Lenalee fought, disabling and disarming the soldiers while trying to look after those she cared about but couldn't exactly fight. After the fight was done Lenalee helped out in medical. They were also sent back to live in Facility 1 for a time while the robots did their best to tend to the damaged station and make it livable again. The first week Lenalee slept out in the biodome with a bunch of her other friends.

Despite spending a lot of time in the boring rat cage that was Facility 1, it wasn't all bad. She was suddenly without her Innocence one week and there hadn't been anything wrong with that at all. It wasn't until the week when they had bombs placed in their chests next to their hearts when things got terrible. She'd been on her way to visit him only to find him already dead. The death had shaken her harder than anything she'd experienced so far. Things didn't help when Miranda died right next to her as well but Lenalee managed to live through the week.

There were some good times during this month as her brother eventually came back to life. He was a little weak but she took it upon herself to look after him. As it neared the middle of the month it became pretty harsh for Lenalee. Her brother was terminated and by this point she knew what that meant. Grief and mourning consumed a lot of her month, as she planned a funeral for her brother. She doesn't remember all that much from this month because of her emotional state and slight withdrawal. But Lenalee did battle against her Shadow Self (Persona-style) and win pretty quickly.

October brought them another trip to Facility 3 to a place called Devar-Toi. It was a prison with doors that led to different locations. Lenalee spent a chunk of time in a Manhattan apartment with a view that overlooked Central Park. Though it was only for about a week as she went comatose for nearly the rest of their trip. She woke up near the end of the trip to Facility 3 to catch what had happened about the murders, to grab some stuff and to save a puppy.

This month started off with a bang as each person was visited by a ghost of themselves, either from the past or from their future. At first Lenalee wasn't too concerned about having a younger version of herself but when the experiment went into another week is when things got weird. Suddenly there were future versions of themselves that had been stuck inside the Facility for years and had gone completely mad. And these ghosts could become tangible to the point where they hurt people. Lenalee kept to her apartment with her future self and only had some minor injuries when the experiment was over. She and Allen also had an unofficial date that was a picnic in a small bamboo area. Unfortunately they had strange fixations at the time, Lenalee with an uncontrollable urge to touch cloth and Allen touching hair. Still, despite the awkwardness it was a nice not-date.

But the relatively good month couldn't last. Shortly after December started Lenalee was locked in a room with Kanda and made to do some terrible things in order to get free. First they had to find a key that had been placed inside one of their bodies and fill a bucket with blood. So Lenalee performed amateur exploratory surgery on Kanda who's healing abilities had been blocked. Luckily for them they found the key and collecting enough blood hadn't been too hard. Yet they weren't allowed to leave yet. They had one more task: to put two organs into the bucket. Knowing Kanda wouldn't survive if she continued on him or without his liver, she performed self-surgery to remove one of her kidneys and her gallbladder. Finally they were free, except...neither of them could move very far with their injuries. It was sort of a good thing that Allen had been made to watch from a room next door so he was right there when the door opened. While her organs couldn't be replaced, the healers could heal her up a lot faster so she was out of the medical ward about a week later. Too bad she had her memories of home swapped for those from another world. A mutant world. Miranda thought the same too but a lot of their friends were telling them different which was confusing. When it was over Lenalee did come away with some knowledge of futuresque things. Christmas wasn't all that bad either as it was the day she and Allen started dating.

Was pretty boring except for the fact that there were people dropping like flies everywhere. She was introduced to her first 4th wall event with a different version of Kanda though things turned ugly the second week as the guests became violent. While Lenalee was glad to help him even before knowing what was going on, she didn't go near him when he became violent.

Valentine's Day and her boyfriend was comatose. It wasn't the best day in her Facility history but Lenalee made some new friends. She also had some girl bonding time with Emilia and Miranda. Her relationship with Allen was made public to the general population too. During this month Lenalee turned 18 and had officially spent a year in the torture facility.

Their final trip to a Facility 3 location. It was some unknown desert on an alien planet that had three suns. The first week was hard with the endless light and heat and lack of supplies but it was nothing compared to the two weeks of darkness that followed. Especially not with what lurked in the darkness was large and carnivorous. The creatures were hurt by light and each person had a partner that they had to have in order to illuminate a torch. Both had to be touching it at all times so it made sleeping a bit difficult. Near the end of the month everyone was surprised when no new arrivals came. Even more surprised when the station took really hard hits from an unexpected asteroid storm. Seems that Val and the station were so badly damaged that the computer started looking for a nearby planet to make an emergency landing on.
